Creative thinking
Educational institutions continually need new ideas.
This requires creativity: the art of breaking through patterns, habits and certainties.
We can all stimulate our creative skills, if only we are aware of our own obstructions
and impediments (and those of the organization) to arrive at creative solutions.
The training sessions aim at taking away these obstructions and impediments.
In addition to that in the sessions skills are developed that promote creative thinking.

Can a room and the way it is furnished contribute to creative thinking?
It is the vision of School for the Future that such factors certainly contribute
to the quality of creative thinking and group processes that take place in it.
That’s why School for the Future created Crealucion. The word is a contraction of creativity,
luce (light), solution, innovation and revolution. The room is a challenge to be creative.
In fact there are two rooms: the orange room (meant to diverge) and a green room (meant to converge).
These two rooms are separated by a special wall, made suitable to write on.
The orange room is furnished with orange skippyball chairs and other playful elements.
Everything here stimulates and challenges the creative mind.
The furnishing of the green room is more sophisticated; it offers peace and quiet.
For moments of reflection and/or incubation there is the ‘brainbox’.
Crealucion offers lots of possibilities to support creative processes with information and communication technology.
