School for the Future is an initiative by Coen Free, president of King William I College.

A historian in literature by origin, Free was elected citizen of the year in his hometown ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 1999.

He was awarded this certificate of merit because of his special efforts in the fields of education and history of culture.
