CTL: Five years of expertise
Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has become an indispensable institution within Koning Willem I College. For five years now CTL has occupied itself with improving the professionalism of the college’s employees in behalf of the implementation of educational and technological innovations. In addition to that CTL , through research and development, has been acquiring new knowledge in the field of learning and technologies. On March 28th CTL organised a small symposium, in celebration of this landmark. The focus of attention was on the official presentation of the book ‘De J4-strategie’, written by CTL’s Ton van der Moolen.

First certificates International Studies
International Studies, the name speaks for itself: truly international in many ways. Not only because classes are in English or because there are visiting professors from the United States. There is much more. The business model with the American Mesa Community College is a ‘joint venture’. Recently this joint venture resulted in a very special graduation day, done in the American way. International Studies granted its first certificates on the basis of American credit points, making King William I College the first Dutch mbo-college to do so.
